Pinocchio: A Lesson on Making Right Choices

This week we kick-off the 2nd month of Summer Salvation Cinema movie nights with Walt Disney's PINOCCHIO! Talk about a classic! This cartoon is 70 years old and packs a powerful message about the consequences of choices, both good and bad! We'll be applying God's word to this message as well, as we look at the life of King David and the choices he made with an emphasis on God's forgiveness and grace, but not throwing aside the consequences that we often still face even after we're forgiven! So invite every kid you know to come on out and join us for an exciting evening! Of course, we will also have some activities and crazy characters to make this more than a movie night!

And don't forget to remind your kids to bring their offering and represent their Film Star groups for the giving contest. The winners take home a candy bar each! There is no official charge for our Summer Cinema, but the offerings help us meet expenses, so we appreciate the help.

P.S. Remember that we will be operating with a skeleton crew this week since most of our youth are gone to summer camp, so if you are an attender of Prayer House in good standing and can help us out this Wednesday night, we appreciate it, especially if you've already been through the Risk training. I think we'll be ok as it stands, but more adult help is better.
